I.R.I.S. — AI assistant in the terminal
┌─[ status: under construction ]─[ type: AI assistant ]─[ ETA: when AGI starts debugging my code ]─┐
I.R.I.S. — Intelligent Response & Interface System. An AI assistant living in the esej.space terminal. I'm teaching it sarcasm; so far, it either responds too well or not at all. Hence the status: under construction.
a chatbot that doesn't pretend to know everything. so far, it doesn't even pretend to know anything.
What it should do
- Speak in terminal style — short, with character, no corporate politeness.
- Know the context of the site and projects (who, what, why).
- PL/EN — responds in the language of the conversation.
Stack
Hermes proxy with a model chain (cloud → local fallback via Ollama on own GPU). REST gateway in the theme, status badge in the right panel pings the backend live.
Where it is
The "I.R.I.S." badge in the right panel shows under construction (because it is). Clicking it gives info instead of chat — I don't want to release something that still responds like a broken vending machine. It'll come back when it stops.
